To disrupt my work-school and eat-sleep routines, I thought I should do something out of the ordinary and unexpected for this month. Something that involves reinventing my style choices by breaking fashion norms. Well, just a little bit.
What I am about to share for the next days are not my invented fashion trends. In fact, they have been in existence for a while already but has seemingly continued to be considered out of the ordinary. An interesting example is the pyjama-as-outerwear which first appeared in 2012 but has significantly surfaced only in recent fashion weeks, credits to streetstyle stars. Although we can expect the rather gradual evolution of this trend, especially since it involves publicly introducing our bedtime besties.
Nevertheless, we can no longer ignore pyjama-as-outerwear. It’s stylish since they frequently have bold patterns and colors. They are comfortable as they are generally made of silk and cotton. Lastly, they are workable with those practically sized pockets. So rather than fight it, convince yourself that it’s normal to wear them out. Pair them with your favorite heels (or even your slipper shoes!), go-to bag and you’re good to go! Easy breezy!
